Contracts for cast members are currently being negotiated for cast members and their LC alter-egos. We can confirm that several cast members have chosen to be on the OUTS of their alter-egos, also due to restructuring of the series. In a casting rocker, actor Texas Battle is out at Liberty City. Battle joined as an original cast member as Braden Montez and has remained on a recurring stature since the creation of the series. Battle’s on-screen mother Brenda Montez, who was portrayed by Daytime veteran Victoria Rowell, exited last year as part of a possible murder storyline.

Texas has provided great talent to the series. However, the character of Braden has simply simmered out,” series creator Scott Andrews unveiled. “His exit will be a good one, though. Expect a lot of twists, turns and drama.”

Battle will exit the series this fall at a TBA date.

Dillon Smithson SORAS’ed from 12 to 15
Posted By: admin On: 24 April, 2012

The search for a new Dillon Smithson is over! After being portrayed by miscellaneous child actors, the role of Dillon has been recast with former One Life to Live actor Austin Williams.

The 15 year-old actor portrayed the role of Shane Morasco for four years on the ABC soap and is now jumping ship to Liberty City as a newly 15 year old character.

Aging Dillon by three years is easily going to give him a bit of an edge. We kind of kept him a ‘kid’ like character through the first three seasons, but now we’re ready to give him an edge,” series creator Scott Andrews announces.

Williams will debut in the role this fall, following the show’s summer hiatus. He will be held on a recurring stature.

Could Van Hansis Be the nuDillon Smithson?
Posted By: admin On: 13 April, 2012

It’s been speculated that ATWT fav Van Hansis (ex-Luke) could be joining the series as a newly SORAS’ed Dillon Smithson. The character, currently aged 12, could be aged to a tender age of 19/20, which could result in his older sister, Jessica, being aged as well.

However, some say that while the casting of Van is true, it could be for a dramatic re-cast of Theo Johnson, currently portrayed and praised by Michael Graziadei.  Until confirmation can be made, anything right now is pure speculation.

Could you accept an older Dillon? Or even another Theo? Or should Van come on as someone totally new?

ATWT Alum Sent Packing from Series
Posted By: admin On: 4 April, 2012

As the World Turns/Loving alum Noelle Beck is being sent packing from her Liberty City alter-ego in the coming weeks. Beck originally joined the series last year as Madison Newton, estranged wife of Adam Newton (Jon Hensley). The role not only reunited her with her ATWT co-star, but as well as Martha Byrne, whom she replaced as Lily Walsh Snyder on World Turns back in ’08.

The chance to play out this storyline with Noelle was amazing,” series creator Scott Andrews revealed. “However, the role has run its coarse. It’s time for the character and Noelle to move on from ‘Liberty City’.

Beck’s exit is said to be filled with drama and will be quick. She will exit next month. Her on-screen daughter, Ava (Kate Mansi), is due to stay in town on recurring stature.

Y&R/AMC Actress Joins in Special Storyline
Posted By: admin On: 17 March, 2012

Y&R/AMC actress Melissa Claire Egan is joining the cast of Liberty City. She will be introduced as Holly, a single mother with a child and another on the way.

This is going to be a very rich storyline, bringing in a struggling single mom,” it has been revealed. “And Missy is going to rock it. It’s unlike either of her characters that she’s portrayed on both ‘Y&R’ and ‘AMC’. She’s not as vindictive or quick to stab someone. She’s a struggling survivor.”

Missy will debut, in a recurring stature, this May.
